Background

Yevgen Zarudnev has been a licensed attorney in Ukraine since 2008. He has worked in both industrial holdings and law firms.

In 2023 he joined the Saxinger Schindhelm Services SE as a cooperation partner. Since 01.01.2026, Mr. Zarudnyev has been working as Of Counsel at the Schindhelm offices in Paris and Bucharest.

In 2007, he successfully completed an LL.M. program titled “The Common European Legal Space – European Integration and Central, Eastern and Southeastern Europe” at Dresden University of Technology (TU Dresden).

In 2014, he obtained a PhD in Law.


Attorney Yevgen Zarudnyev specializes in providing legal guidance for international and investment-driven projects, with a strong focus on corporate, tax, currency regulation, and labor law.

He has extensive experience advising foreign investors and has successfully supported the establishment and structuring of numerous companies in Ukraine, including businesses with foreign ownership. His work covers all stages of market entry and business operations — from corporate structuring and regulatory compliance to ongoing legal support.

A key area of his practice lays in is advising IT companies and technology-driven businesses. This includes intellectual property protection, data protection and privacy, licensing, contractual frameworks, as well as assisting start-ups and Diia.City residents.

In addition to advisory work, Attorney Yevgen Zarudnyev regularly represents clients before Ukrainian courts in corporate, tax, and labor disputes, combining strategic litigation skills with a deep understanding of his clients’ commercial interests.
