Background
Christoph Luegmair has worked as a lawyer for SAXINGER in Linz since 2009. Between 1999 and 2000, he was a project assistant at the Institute for Postgraduate European Studies at the Faculty of Law at Johannes Kepler University in Linz. Christoph Luegmair is also admitted to the bar in the Czech Republic and advises clients in the Czech Republic in particular.
After his degree in law at Johannes Kepler University (graduation in 2004) he started his legal training at the firm. In 2010, he completed the Professional Master of Laws (European Tax Law) postgraduate course. 2010 ILEC – International Legal English Certificate (University of Cambridge).
Christoph Luegmair advises domestic and foreign investors, developers and private individuals on real estate law. He has extensive experience in structuring real estate transactions, in particular with regard to tax implications, real estate leasing as well as real estate development, condominium and lease agreements. He advises both private and institutional investors on large-volume real estate transactions, inter alia in connection with bidding or tender procedures. A significant aspect of his advisory work is also the handling of trusteeships.
A further focus of his work is on M&A transactions as well as advising on the conduct of legal due diligence reviews. Christoph Luegmair advises on tax law and is co-author of the "Handbuch Unternehmenskauf" published by Verlag Österreich.
Concerning real estate law, he is publisher and co-author of "Handbuch Liegenschaftserwerb" by Linde Verlag.
In addition, Christoph Luegmair advises on all insurance law matters from contract review to representation in relation to insurance coverage claims as well as the defence of claims.
Based on his experience, Christoph Luegmair is the CEO of a real estate company as well as a trading company. He is also a member of the board of a private foundation.

- Advising of an Austrian company with operations nationwide on the implementation of real estate and equipment leasing with regard to the construction of health centres and sanatoria.
- Advising of an internationally operating company in the chemical industry on the establishment of an Austrian subsidiary and cross-border contribution of business enterprise.
- Advising of a French investor with regard to the intended acquisition of a leading Austrian automotive accessory and spare parts dealer.
