Background

Serkan Yılmaz is a co-founder of the auditing firm GEMS Schindhelm.

He was graduated from Bornova Anadolu Gymnasium in Izmir in 1997 and then began studying Business Administration at Istanbul University. After successfully completing his studies in 2001, he completed a Master's program in Business Administration at Istanbul University.

Immediately after graduating, he began working for Moore Turkey (one of the top 10 auditing firms). He worked at Moore for seventeen years in various roles within the organization, such as audit assistant, accountant, audit manager, audit director, general manager, and partner.

His credentials include the CPA certificate, the certificate of the Public Oversight Board's independent auditor, the confirmation statement from the Capital Markets Council, and the Independent Auditor Certificate from the Banking Regulation and Supervision Authority.

In 2017, he completed a Leadership Program training at Harvard Business School in Boston, United States.
